We represent clients in the United States and around the world, and pride ourselves on providing skilled and business-minded advice. We’re looking for a full time paralegal to join our team. The candidate should have a deep working knowledge of US trademark practice, be extremely organized and attentive to detail, be a clear communicator and excellent writer, and be willing and eager to roll up their sleeves and help us manage a fun and robust docket. Please do not apply if you have less than 5 years of trademark experience, or if you reside outside of the United States. This is a remote / work from home position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
– Support attorneys in connection with prosecution and enforcement matters
– Conduct in-house trademark clearance searches and prepare summaries for attorney review
– Manage global trademark and copyright portfolios
– Collect specimens of use
– Review and evaluate watch notices
– Prepare trademark maintenance and renewal applications
– Correspond with foreign counsel
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
– 8+ years of domestic and international IP paralegal experience preferred
– Prior law firm experience
Technical Skills:
– Proficiency in Saegis database and USPTO’s eTEAS system
– Extensive knowledge of the TMEP and TBMP
– Familiarity with WebTMS or similar trademark docketing systems
– High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent proofreading skills
